In science the year 4 students at Al-Hidayah Islamic School have been learning about materials. They have explored the properties of a range of natural and processed materials and how the properties of the material can influence their use.
Part of our learning is conducting an experiment to investigate the absorbency of different materials. The students conducted the investigation in groups, with some teacher guidance, and they completed a one-page record of their investigation. They were asked to reflect on the fairness of the investigation and report to the class on their findings. We worked and participated so well together.
