Jason and Alesha from Supersonic Science delivered a fun and educational science show to Al-Hidayah Islamic School students this week as an extension activity for Science Week.

It was a super cool, educational and entertaining science incursion that absolutely enthralled the students.

The high energy, interactive, educational science show engaged, excited and inspired the students to learn.

It was a Fast-paced, educational and exciting hands-on workshop that encouraged scientific exploration and ignited our students’ passion for science.

Students learnt how chemical reactions could produce amazing effects like Elephant’s Toothpaste and Rocket Explosions.

They also blew some fantastically strong bubbles, created some gooey slime and made some volcanic snow out of powder and water!

The students had a blast participating in guided investigations and making observations and new discoveries.

Naturally, children explore their world, ask lots of questions, and experiment to understand everything around them. These informal and fun learning experiences nurture imagination and encourage the processes of observation, prediction, testing and refining used by scientists.

The program was professionally developed and complemented the Western Australian Curriculum.
