Alhamdulillah, this year’s Sports Carnival on Thursday, 17th September 2020 was a success with students enjoying a fun day out in the sun and taking part in the various events that they all worked hard to practice for during the term.
The Year 4-6 Girls held their running events the day before (Wednesday, 16th September) and students from the Junior Primary (Pre-Primary to Year 3) came out to the faction coloured tents to cheer them on that afternoon.
It was wonderful to see so many parents and families come out and show their support for all the children, Jazak’Allah Khair to all those who came.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the students who participated in the Sports Carnival – you all put in 110% effort on the day, well done, Masha’Allah Tabarakallah!
I would also like to thank all the staff at Al-Hidayah Islamic School (Teachers, Education Assistants, Administration staff) for your efforts throughout the day to make it a fun and organised event for all the students, Jazak’Allah khairan.

2020 Sports Carnival Coordinator
The theme of our Sports Carnival was SPORTSMANSHIP.
The core values of sportsmanship are trying your hardest, playing fair, treating opponents with respect, no boasting and showing great Akhlaq and manners. The students who portrayed all these qualities were awarded a Sportsmanship Medal from their respective Class Teachers.
