Alhamdulillah, we had wonderful weather for the School Breakfast on Thursday,
11th April 2019.
We began our Whole School Breakfast with:
Allah said In Surat Al-Baqarah:
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا كُلُوا مِنْ طَيِّبَاتِ مَا رَزَقْنَاكُمْ وَاشْكُرُوا لِلَّهِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ إِيَّاهُ تَعْبُدُونَ
“O you who have believed, eat from the good lawful things which we have provided for you and be grateful to Allah.”
So, before we want to eat or drink let us mention Allah’s name and eat with the right hand and when we finish we say Alhamdulillah.
Our School Breakfast was a powerful learning experience for the children in all ways: Practicing Islamic etiquette, enjoying healthy eating, sharing communal eating manners, keeping areas clean, tidying up etc…
Thank you to all the parents who prepared such a beautiful, healthy and delicious breakfast.
