Science inquiry/investigation: How do plants grow and change?
The Year 1 students had a wonderful and productive experience at Bentley Community Garden today. They learnt how to harvest potatoes and how to compost vegetable scraps.

They planted the potatoes at the beginning of Term 2 and observed how they grow and change. The students recorded and shared their observations showing that it took 11 weeks for the potatoes to grow.
Tomorrow we are going to create a recipe and cook an amazing dish using our healthy potatoes. Yummy…..
