Junior / Senior Carnival (Pre-Primary – Year 6)
NOTE: The Sports Carnival has been postponed to THURSDAY, 7 NOVEMBER due to the weather forecast for rain and possible hail on Thursday, 31 October. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Parents join in the fun and support your child’s faction. The carnival is a chance for the students to demonstrate all the skills they have learnt and practised over the last 3 months. So it would be amazing if they can share this experience with their parents.
The theme of this years sports carnival is sportsmanship. The core values of sportsmanship are trying your hardest, playing fair, treating opponents with respect, no boasting and showing great manners. The student who portrays all these qualities will be given the Sportsmanship medal at the end of the day.
Please ensure children have their hat and plenty of sunscreen. The students should have their recess, lunch and plenty of drinking water.
Parent help on the day is greatly needed and appreciated. Please see your child’s classroom teacher to organise this. Your help is greatly appreciated and goes toward creating a successful Athletics Carnival. All students are involved in the Carnivals and as such we call on the school community for support. The more helpers, the better the Carnivals.
