Al-Hidayah Islamic School will be hosting various science activities and demonstrations as part of the National Science Week.
National Science Week is an annual nationwide celebration of Australian achievements and capabilities in science. It aims to increase community awareness and understanding of the role of science, engineering, technology and innovation in maintaining and improving our society, economy and the environment.
Around the nation, thousands of teachers and students from early childhood to senior secondary levels contribute to these science celebrations by organising and participating in a diverse range of activities and events.
Al-Hidayah will be having a Science Quiz on Tuesday, 19th August 2008.
From 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm at Bentley Community Centre (Nyamup Way, Bentley) .
Students have also been asked to participate in Al-Hidayah’s “Science Colouring Competition”. Students are encouraged to make their Science Week posters as colourful and creative as possible – a winner will be selected from each class and will be announced at the Friday Assembly. Prizes and certificates will be awarded to each winner, Insha’Allah.
Should you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact the School Office on 9351 8593.
