AUSTRALIAN ISLAMIC COLLEGE (PERTH)
FRAUD CHARGES

Due to the manner in which these matters have been reported in some sections of the media (see links below), some people have the impression that all Muslim schools in Perth are somehow linked to these proceedings.

The Administration of the Al-Hidayah Islamic School wishes to state categorically:

• That these proceedings are not connected to the Al-Hidayah Islamic School in any way whatsoever.

• The Al-Hidayah Islamic School is not now and has never been associated in any way with the Australian Islamic Colleges or any other school or organisation.

• As required, the Administration of the Al-Hidayah Islamic School diligently seeks to comply with all Federal and State Laws affecting the operation of a school; furthermore, compliance with the law (law of the land) is a Tenet of the Religion of Islam and this is reinforced in the rules of the School’s Constitution, which state: “…the Islamic Nature of the School takes precedent over all other considerations relative to the day to day running of the School;”.

As would be appreciated, the Al-Hidayah Islamic School is not in a position to comment on these matters in relation to any other schools.
